Oppo, have any of you noticed something about a certain car that no one else seems to know about? This post is the culmination of 10 years spent carefully observing the Scion tC in the wild, and I cannot stay quiet about this once unexplained occurrence any longer.
This started about 10 years ago, when the tC was a new model. I was in college, and I coveted this car. Back then I didn't care so much about torque numbers or drivetrains. I thought it was cool, and I wanted one. But I noticed that nearly every tC has damage to the driver's side of the rear bumper!
Then I dated this one girl who drove a silver tC. Can you guess where the damage on her car was? This was back in 2008 and Oppo wasn't anything like it is now, nor was I #oppositelock-ing in '08 anyway. So I couldn't really get the word out.
Ever since then, I've really taken note of this phenomenon. And I always thought, "I need to inform Oppo of this, it's getting out of control". Well enough is enough. Today I finally SR-20'd. But upon closer inspection, I found what may be the most practical explanation for this. Take a look at what I've found:
The Scion tC. No big deal right? Well fuck that. Enhance.
Still with me? Good. Enhance.
Enhance.
Illuminati confirmed. You heard it here first, fellas. You've been warned. Now be careful out there.
Also, watch out for girls that drive tC's. Them be some crazy broads.

Its because the TC is related to the Camry. Nobody has ever seen a Camry without a caved in rear bumper.

Little known fact: Toyota engineered a new-car-smell-based pheromone release system into the seat fabric of their cars that disables occupants from not only turning their heads to the left, but also all rational thought as well. It was necessary to prevent occupants from realizing that they were test driving a Toyota and subsequently enabling the company to sell progressively less desirable cars.

I've also noticed that every second generation 4Runner has a dent in the center of the front bumper. I don't know how, but they do. Even mine.

The truth comes out. This is a strange new world we're embarking on, and Oppo is at the forefront.

Jokes aside, there's a damn good reason that insurance premiums for tCs are through the roof. Look it up.

All previous-gen Dodge Caravans (and their variations) have their third brake light burnt out. ALL of them.
